Meet the Team

Dr Irene Gastrow and Dr Marianna Bergh are qualified veterinarians registered with the South African Veterinary Council and South African Veterinary Association. They started Vets@Home as a part-time project a few years ago. After many years in welfare and private practice, they sought ways to make veterinary visits less stressful for patients, and to build long-lasting relationships with clients. Vets@Home provided the ideal opportunity to do just that. Vets@Home is now their primary focus and passion. The practice in Brooklyn has been newly renovated in 2021 and is fully equipped.

Our morning receptionist, Elsie, is a real people's person with a big heart. Our afternoon receptionist, Caitlynn, is extremely compassionate and loves animals. They are able to help you with any queries you may have and can assist you with making appointments.

Samantha, our Animal Health Technician, assists the vets during home visits. She helps to make our patients feel at ease and our clients love her warm personality.
